The church's 25th anniversary celebration  on Sunday, June 1st was a triumph of joy and fellowship.  The day began with a special worship service with presentations for those with memberships of 15 years or longer. Several founding members were present as well as our former pastor , Rev. Wes Summers. The Church's original pastor, Rev. Clyde Chestnut, had planned to attend but was unable due to health  concerns . Please keep Rev. Chestnut in your thoughts and prayers. 

The evening  celebration was  a fun event with over 100 people  in attendance. The event was highlighted by thoughts shared by early members, former pastors, and charter members and a delicious roasted turkey  full course meal prepared perfectly by Kathleen Kelly.  Festive flowers graced each table, lovely music  was provided by  Connie Dedon and the High Country Strings  and Master of Ceremonies Bob Travers was in fine humor . The church's former Pastors, charter members, and early members shared their recollections.  We were blessed to have the following special invited guests in attendance: Rev. Wes Summers, Clint & Fran Goodman, Mary Jo Andrews, Arleta Bill, Harry McCarter, Frank & Margaret Gunter, LaRoy & Mary Seaver, Thomas Beck, Phyllis & Jack Richards, Marvin & Marilyn Rutowski, Fred & Polly Ingold, Denis & Sylvia McMahan.

The evening was  further enhanced by an interesting and heart warming 30 minute slide presentation prepared by Kathy Levine highlighting the 25 years of our rich history. Followed by Connie and the High Country Strings leading us all in song with lyrics written especially for the occasion, and sung to the tune of ‘Gather Together’. Pastor Deb closed with a special prayer.
